Position: General Plant Worker
Locations: Nazareth, PA
SIGN-ON BONUS $1500
ASGCO engineers, manufactures, and distributes a wide array of conveyor and screening components, all specifically designed for the above-ground and underground mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, bulk shipping terminals, pulp and paper, food processing and other bulk material handling industries. We are seeking a Urethane Technician who is a self-starter with a great work ethic and to follow directions and carry out the responsibilities of the job. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Keep up with the workflow of everyday process in division.
- Adhere to ASGCO Quality Assurance Standards and Safety Standards.
- Bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time.
- Be proactive and able to implement more effective ways of accomplishing goals of the department.
- Report to management if there is to be maintenance on any machinery in department.
- Use hand and power tools.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of measurements and using a tape measure.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Attendance and reliability a MUST.
- Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in various industrial settings and environments, including shop, mining, and construction which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles.
- While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see.
- Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) during the workday.
- Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves and other required protective equipment as required.
